The Christmas lights switch on, local food & craft producers market, entertainment, and children’s rides. Join in the Clogs Ont' Cobbles events taking place across Rawtenstall, there is plenty to entertain the whole family.
There will be stalls in the marquees on the Town Square and the market hall will have special events on too plus most shops will be open in town. So why not support your local traders this Christmas and buy a treat or two!
Santa's Grotto, run by Rossendale Hospice, will take pride of place in Woodcocks Solicitors on Bank Street. All proceeds go to the Hospice and it is open throughout the day.
The Coconutters will be doing their thing around the town, and there will be more Clog Dancing at 1pm Rawtenstall Market and 2pm in the Town Square
Churches Together Choir will be singing carols at the 2pm Rawtenstall Market & 3pm in the Town Square
The renowned Matt Pacey will be roaming the Christmas Fair performing amazing diablo tricks.
Traditional children's fairground rides are in the car park opposite the market plus some stalls and refreshments.
The Town Crier will keep you informed of all events through on Bank Street, and there's music and information throughout the day from compere Pete Sweetmore.
Don't forget to take part in the Best Festive Dressed Window and Fairy Tale mask competitions and have the chance of winning prizes; all the winners will be announced just before the light switch on.
